Pay Check1. Using Pay Check
These terms are an agreement between you and Sadam Solutions, the maker of Pay Check. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Pay Check for a business, you agree for that business.
2. What Pay Check does
Pay Check reads payment SMS from supported banks and wallets on your Android phone, keeps a payment history, and can send payment alerts to Telegram or by SMS. Check lets you look up a receipt reference with the bank's or wallet's receipt page.
Pay Check is a helper tool. It is not a bank, wallet or payment service, it does not hold or move your money, and it is not made by or connected to any bank or wallet.
3. Your account and phones
- You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account can be used on up to 2 phones at the same time. You can remove a phone in the app to free a place.
- Use Pay Check only on phones and SIM cards you are allowed to use, and only for payment messages you are allowed to read.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a free trial of 30 days. During the trial, Telegram and SMS alerts are limited to 25 payments a day and Check is limited to 25 receipt checks a day. Daily limits reset at midnight, Ethiopia time. When the trial ends, sending stops until you choose a Premium plan. Your payment history stays on your phone.
5. Premium and payments
- Premium plans and prices are shown in the app under Subscriptions. The price shown when you start a payment is the price for that order.
- You pay with the methods shown in the app, then enter your payment reference. Premium starts after we confirm the payment with the bank or wallet.
- Make sure you send the exact amount to the account shown in the app. We cannot confirm payments sent to a different account.
- A plan runs for the period shown in the app. Lifetime means for as long as we offer the Pay Check service.
- We may change prices for new orders. A change does not affect time you have already paid for.
- Each payment reference can be used only once.
If you paid and Premium did not start, do not pay again. Contact support with your payment reference.
6. Refunds
Because Premium starts as soon as a payment is confirmed, payments are generally not refundable. If you were charged by mistake, paid twice for the same order, or Premium did not start after a confirmed payment, contact support within 7 days and we will fix it or refund you. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Ethiopian law.
7. Fair use
You agree not to:
- use Pay Check for fraud, to deceive anyone, or to break the law;
- try to get Premium without paying, reuse someone else's payment, or get around daily or phone limits;
- copy, change, resell or reverse engineer the app, or attack our servers;
- send alerts to people who did not agree to receive them.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Limits of the service
Pay Check depends on things outside our control: bank and wallet SMS, their message formats and receipt pages, your phone, your SIM, Android settings, internet access, Telegram and your mobile operator. Messages can be late, missing or in a new format, and a bank page can be unavailable.
So Pay Check is provided "as is". Always confirm important payments in your bank or wallet app before you hand over goods or money. To the extent the law allows, Sadam Solutions is not responsible for losses caused by a missed, late or wrong alert or check, by fake messages, or by misuse of the app. If we are found responsible, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for Pay Check in the 3 months before the problem.
9. Updates and changes
We improve Pay Check over time and may add, change or remove features. Download updates only from our official Telegram channel or from Check for updates in the app. We may update these terms; we will change the date at the top and tell users about important changes. Using Pay Check after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Pay Check at any time by signing out and uninstalling the app, and you can ask us to delete your account. We may stop or suspend the service, or an account that breaks these terms. If we stop the Pay Check service completely, we will announce it on our Telegram channel in advance where possible.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
